I have mild apnea but I am still tired at the morning. I rarely snore and have narrow nose passages. I tried CPAP with pressures from 4cm to 7cm, but I couldn’t sleep with the face mask for more than 30 minuets. My pulse oximeter ring showed bigger oxygen drops with the CPAP than without the CPAP!

  1. Does CPAP supposed to help people with apnea that don’t snore and why? I can understand that CPAP can help people that snore because the pressure keeps the airways open, but why should it help people that do not snore?
  2. A small survey for people that have apnea and rarely snore: Do you have obstructive apnea or central? What device do you use and what is your pressure settings?
  3. What would you recommend for me to try next?
