Often when I am sleeping on my back I am awoken to my cpap making like a click sensation in the mask itself. It does it once, like a click or small hiccup sensation. When it wakes me up I notice the machine wasn’t feeding air and then as soon as I wake up it starts breathing air again.
It only happens when I am on my back, it stops as soon as I wake up and the air starts again, and it’s clearly not a problem with the machine (it’s in the mask itself And it seems intentional, not a defect in the machine). Is it a sensor catching an obstructive episode or mask leak? Is it not feeding air when I wake up because it thinks the mask is off? What is that?
