I have noticed that when I sleep or when I am drowsy my jaw “loosens” and sort of drops which results in my mouth being open.

I bought mouth tape and using the SnoreLab app I noticed that when my mouth was taped shut (for however long the tape stayed on for) my snoring was significantly reduced. Although I did wake up in the night just as many times as I would without.

So if I was to buy a chin strap to help keep my jaw together my mouth won’t open? Anyone have any experience?
