I’m talking about things like your thyroid or testosterone levels. I’ve been successfully using CPAP now for three months, and on most days, the symptoms sleep apnea can directly cause are a lot better. But some of the other stuff caused by wonky blood work has only improved about 20 or 30 percent. My doctor said that those typically go back to normal in about a month of CPAP treatment, but I’ve had severe mixed sleep apnea my entire life (around 120 events per night) so I’m not sure that’s accurate.
I’m trying to decide if it’s time to talk to my doctor about getting more blood work and medication to help control the other stuff I’ve got going on if it isn’t going to go away by itself. COVID-19 makes this more awkward, but I’d really like the rest of the suffering to stop soon.
Thanks to all who reply! ^_^
