So I had been sleeping for about 5 years (doctors best guess) with an AHI up to 40. Since the day I got my CPAP I have used it every night and average about 1.75 AHI a night. This has been about 1.5 years.
I definitely feel as though I dont need as much sleep as before (fine with 7-7.5 hours vs 9+) but what other health benefits am I getting that I dont realize? I guess I am just curious about the long term health benefits for getting on the CPAP as a 28 year old vs someone who doesnt.
