I am a bit desperate so this is a post for advice but also for me to vent a bit.

2 months ago I started CPAP therapy, APAP to be precise. I tried a couple masks and decided to stick with the DreamWear Nasal Mask because its the only one that I could semi comfortably sleep on my side with.

I got to a point where I manage to fall asleep with the mask but after 2-3 hours I wake up and I simply can not fall asleep again. I tried a couple of things ( like smoking CBD, homeopathic medicine, melatonin etc. ) but nothing helps. I simply cant relax anymore and fall back asleep. I am currently soo sleep deprived that I have fallen into bad depression and ended up on a small dosage of anti depressants that are helping with falling asleep – but they also make me even more tired in the morning.

There are a couple of things that I will try in the future :
1. I ordered a full face mask because I never tried one so I Want to give that a go.
2. I ordered a chin strap because I think that I might be waking up because I open my mouth ( but not sure about that ).
3. I will try to wear the mask during the day as much as possible in order to get used to it, but so far that hasnt been helpful.

Any other suggestions? I am super desperate currently and I have no idea how to deal with this for a couple more months…
