I’ve had a cpap machine for 3 years and used it or a while, but eventually laziness, chronic sinus conjestion, and migraines got the better of me and I stopped using it. The mask is not too uncomfortable and I do practice wearing the mask (im not sure if wearing it more while im awake would make it more familiar or more irritating) but I cannot sleep with it on at this time. For whatever reason it is more irritating when Im actually trying to sleep. Ive had a couple of nights sleep lost entirely from trying to use it. Ive come to realize that it is so important for my physical and mental health but the damn cpap just sits there reminding me im losing the battle. Could be a mental thing really, ie the pressure I feel to wear it stresses me out and makes it harder.
Any suggestions, tips, &/or support will be very much appreciated!
