I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for some good questions I should ask the respiratory therapist I’m meeting with who is supposed to show me how to use the machine, etc.? I know this is probably something I should think of on my own, but I’m not even sure what to ask.

Some things I’ve noticed from this subreddit are that people tend to remove their mask/mask falls off in the middle of the night, sometimes wake up choking, or are seeing no therapeutic benefits. Should I ask about these possibilities, what they mean, & what I should do in those situations? What other info should I make sure I have after this appointment? I know the therapist should tell me all the important stuff, but I feel like a lot of doctors just do enough to get by so I want to make sure I don’t miss anything important because of the therapist’s negligence or my own.

Thanks for any suggestions/advice!
