At a physical about a year ago, I had just begun to try to lose weight and asked the doctor what a good goal weight for me was. He said rather than guess a number, a good metric might be beating sleep apnea. At this point I’m logging all my food, jogging a couple miles a day and I’m down about 80lbs in the past year. I hate to admit I’m not sleeping any better (although that could be due to working nights). But my question is, has anybody here actually lost enough weight that it cured their sleep apnea and did a sleep study confirm that?
