I have OSA. And I think my OSA is a function of me being overweight. Losing weight has been a tremendous struggle (long story). ANYWAY, I have tried the CPAP machine and just couldn’t get comfortable with it. I then got a MAD device made but I am scared to use it because I don’t want my bite to change. I figured, why not look into wedge pillows as a conservative, relatively harmless treatment. I began using them and most of them are so uncomfortable to sleep on, especially as a side sleeper. And I am worried it’s not good for my neck or back. I have researched and researched and I seem to have gotten the best ones and with the lowest angle of incline for maximum comfort as a side sleeper but it’s still uncomfortable. Most of them are like rocks and the cushion ones seem to defeat the purpose. I do think when I am able to tolerate sleeping on it, I feel much more rested. Does anyone have any thoughts?
