I was diagnosed with severe apnea, 50 incidents an hour, and I’ve had a lot of success with the CPAP despite a rough start due to converting from mouth breathing. I still am slightly uncomfortable sleeping with mouth closed due to partial restriction in my nasal passage. I had an unrelated infection in my nose several years ago that had me forwarded to a specialist, and he mentioned off the cuff that he’d be willing to do a small surgery that would open up my nose airway (I think I have a slight deviated septum on one side). Anyways, since being diagnosed I’ve had my doctor refer me to the specialist I spoke with and plan on going through with the minor surgery. Just curious if anyone in this community has any experience?
