The overall Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) in this study is within the normal range. Consider following up with a facility based study if there is a clinical suspicion for a false negative result given the extremely high RDI but low AHI. Clinical correlation recommended.
Weight loss is recommended to reduce the risk of developing obstructive sleep apnea and to reduce snoring.
