I just recently completed an at home sleep study through the suggestion of my neurologist. Here are the test results copy and pasted.

The study showed that the patient had 65 respiratory events. The AHI is 8.3 per hour. There were 88 respiratory event related arousals (RERAs), making the respiratory disturbance index (RDI) 11.2 per hour. Snoring was present during the study. The oxygen nadir was 94% during sleep.

She told me I do have sleep apnea and she wants me to go see a pulmonologist to be fitted for a CPAP. I’m just a bit confused because I keep reading that you aren’t considered someone with sleep apnea unless your AHI is 15 or higher. Am I incorrect? Any clarification would be appreciated!
