So for the last year and a half I’ve been living in pretty much a fog. Mentally it feels like I’m always tired and it is hard to focus on what’s around me. As well as almost an off balance feel all the time. This has caused me to have panic attacks and higher anxiety.
I did have a sleep study done and came back with mild sleep apnea. Didn’t think much about it until I talked to a therapist who said it’s sleep apnea. My question is how can sleep apnea cause these symptoms?
Some of what I have is:
Fatigue Lack of focus on world around me Off balance Anxiety
The lack of focus feels like I’m unable to pay attention to anything as clearly I used too. Like looking at the world through a lense that is slightly off.
I’ve also heard of people getting depersonalization derealization from apnea.
How does apnea cause these symptoms?
