I got a CPAP a few days ago and I hate it. The straps dig into my face, air blows into my eyes, and it’s really loud. I tried wearing it for a few hours to get comfortable and had a sore throat for 2 days after that. I’m calling the company to talk about getting a different mask, but what are some alternatives to CPAP?

I don’t think a retainer would work for me as I have really bad TMJ and my TMJ doctor said sleep apnea retainers will mess that up. I’m not sure how I feel about surgery. I started doing some throat exercises and ordered a didgeridoo online as playing that is supposed to help sleep apnea. What are some other alternatives that might also help?
