For people who’s only had a septoplasty: is it worth it?
I’m considering getting it in addition to expansion sphincter pharyngoplasty, but reading about empty nose syndrome is scaring the life out of me. I asked my surgeon to not have my turbinates reduced/removed, but people commented there’s a chance it’d accidentally get damaged during surgery.
For the upside, most literature suggests that it doesn’t improve AHI but improves ESS. Have you guys found that to be the case? I know it improves breathing, but do you feel more awake these days?
