Just got diagnosed with sleep apnea last week. I have 41 events per hour for up to 40 seconds. I’m over weight, heaviest I’ve ever been in my life after having a baby 7 months ago, but I’ve always felt tired even when I weighed 120 ponds (I now weigh 200). The doctor also said sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn’t.
Just wondering if any of you guys have had success losing weight and improving your sleep apnea. I plan to use CPAP as using it in the sleep lab made me feel amazing the next day, and I’m okay with my weight. But if it might help I would definitely be willing to lose some weight. Any thoughts anybody?
