Hello first my name is Nicole. I am 37 and roughly 60lbs overweight. I just went over the results today of my sleep study by phone. I had an in lab sleep study 2 weeks ago. I have a mild to moderate sleep apnea. It’s obstructive and way worse when I sleep on my back. I just have a couple questions.

  1. Is that a typical finding, that the apnea would be worse in certain positions?
  2. What type of face mask do you use, did you try a couple before you found one you like?
  3. How soon after starting CPAP therapy did you begin to feel better?
  4. If you were overweight did you find therapy aided in weight loss? I only ask this because I am really struggling to loose weight and I have read sleep apnea can hinder weight loss.
