I understand LPR (silent reflux) is different in some ways to GERD. I have LPR that includes a cough and hoarseness in my voice. Unlike people with typical GERD, I have no heartburn or chest discomfort.

My diet is good, I do not drink or smoke, consume almost no soda and wait a bit to lay down after I eat. My LPR is definitely caused by my apnea.

Does anyone else have this issue? I have elevated my bed and gone back on PPI meds to help but I know until I am able to be fully compliant with my CPAP therapy, I am basically putting a bandage over a bullet-hole.
