I’m fairly young and not overweight, but I did a sleep study this past January due to severe sleep issues. I used to sleep up to 16-18 hours a day. With weight loss and not sleeping on my back, as well as forcing myself to bed and up from bed at certain times, that’s down to 12 hours. Still a depressing amount of hours.
I’ve been told it’s a combination of restless legs, delayed sleep phase, and minor obstructive sleep apnea due to allergies and a narrow airway. I’m in PA school and it’s completely exhausting even without sleep issues, so you can imagine how it’s been plaguing me.
I wanted to see if anyone else went the CPAP route and how it went. I’d love to feel good on 6-8 hours of sleep like a normal human.
