I’m pretty sure I might have sleep apnea. I am a 21-year-old male, exercise regularly, eat healthy, 5’8″ at 163 pounds, don’t drink or smoke, have a consistent sleep schedule, etc.
I didn’t really have good sleep hygiene before (as I drank regularly, used my phone in bed, etc.) but when I started noticing how tired I was getting a few months back, I started cleaning up my act.
If I don’t sleep for 8 hours, I feel like an absolute zombie. Even when I do, I still don’t ever really feel energized and get kinda drowsy at times.
My question is, what made you take matters into your own hands and get a sleep study done? And is there anything you guys think could be causing my sleepiness that I’m not considering?
I’d like to find natural solutions (as COVID-19 is a serious danger of going to any medical facility) but it’s getting to the point where I don’t really care.
