I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea waking up 13 times an hour. I also went and saw an allergist and have really bad allergies. My sinuses are always clogged. He told me to then see an ENT because if my septum is blocked the allergy shots wont really work to their full potential. The ENT said i have almost full blockage in my left nostril and will need surgery to correct that. It makes sense because when im stuffy i can only blow my nose through the right nostril. He said this will also help with the cpap machine. So im having the surgery. But my question is. Has anyone else had this surgery? If my apnea is “mild”. Could this solve those issues too? Should i get another sleep study after this surgery?
