I’m a 25 year old female, underweight, and experience excessive daytime sleepiness. I got a sleep study done 2 years ago due to always being tired no matter how much I sleep. The results came back negative for sleep apnea. During the test, I barely slept due to anxiety, so I wasn’t really confident in the results anyway.

Today I asked for a copy of my results and I noticed that my non-rem ahi was 0.5 but my REM ahi was 9.2. I also had a RERA of 4. I do have a narrow palate, small jaw, and wake up multiple times a night.

I’ve had issues with tiredness my whole life, have gotten extensive bloodwork done and nothing out of the ordinary came up. I’ve been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and adhd. I’ve felt like I’ve been in a fog for the past 10 years and I’m trying to figure out what’s going on. Not saying I have sleep apnea, since low number of ahi’s but could it be something else?
