I’ve noticed that when I’m completely flat or barely reclined my sinuses close up to where it takes 2-3 seconds to fully inhale, but once I sit up again it takes a normal 1 second. This is why I wake up mouth breathing and only seem to have problems (seasonal allergies aside) with nasal breathing during sleep.

Anyone else have this? Besides sleeping heavily reclined, what can I do about it?
