Hi everyone. Sorry if this isn’t the kind of sub to put this in, I’m just pretty desperate for some answers. I’m 19 F for reference.
I’ve been having daytime fatigue for years now and it’s just steadily getting worse. I’ve been to so many doctors and all of them have told me the same thing, which is I have low iron, low blood sugar, I’m just depressed, etc. I’ve worked very hard to fix my diet and successfully have, I’ve gained weight and am finally at a healthy weight. Anyway, the problem hasn’t gone away, if anything it’s gotten worse and it makes me absolutely miserable. I cannot for the life of me stay asleep. I am constantly waking up at weird times multiple times throughout the night. I lost my first job because I just did not have the energy to make it through full days.
I thought this was normal honestly, I thought I was just being a baby and everyone sleeps like that. Until my boyfriend visited and we shared a bed. He told me as I’ve been told my whole life that I sleep with my mouth wide open. I didn’t think much of it. He told me I also occasionally snore and make noses. Again, whatever. I didn’t think too much of it. It sounded a bit like sleep apnea but I didn’t think I could have it because I didn’t snore enough.
Fast forward to this week. I found out that overbites can cause some airway blockage. (If that’s the correct term?) And I have a severe overbite. My bottom jaw is very far back. Is this a sign of it? Should I talk to my doctor or am I being crazy?
Thank you in advanced!
