I’ve done one take-home sleep apnea test from a sleep clinic. (You take the machine home, hook it up before sleep.)
From the scores, I’ve symptoms of very mild apnea.
But I’ve a hard time trusting this. I know I wake up very lethargic and low-energy on some days.
Is the take-home apnea machine accurate????
So I’m completely lost.
I can’t just go ahead and buy a $2500 machine when I don’t know the root cause of all this fatigue.
I believe at a local uni hospital, there’s like an “in-hospital overnight sleep study” thing.
So you sleep overnight AT the hospital. (& Maybe more comprehensive testing..?)
It likely won’t be covered by insurance. (Canada)
Do you think it’s worth trying??
I’ve very little options.
